Get Paid For Writing Blog Posts

by in Reviews

PR companies are realizing the buzz that bloggers are able to generate and are offering to send “mommy bloggers” and the like free products in exchange for a review (and ultimately a link back to their website). This is fine for the part-time blogger that likes to try new products, but if you're like me, the free cosmetic kits and cleaning supplies don't pay the bills. I prefer cash.

Here is a list of four companies that I personally work with (and recommend) that pay cash (in the form of PayPal or checks) for me to write blog posts that I publish on my own blogs with the specified keywords and links that they choose:

  1. Blog Advertising - Advertise on blogs with SponsoredReviews.comLink Vehicle is the newest company I've joined and have had good results that pays via PayPal on the 1st of every month.
  2. Link Worth offers various ways to earn money from blog posts to link ads and pays on the 10th of every month (minimum $25 for PayPal and minimum $100 for check).
  3. Social Spark contains big Fortune 500 brands advertisers like Kraft and AT&T, but you must wait 30 days after publish date for release of funds to request PayPal payment (only drawback).
  4. Sponsored Reviews is my favorite as it's the easiest platform to use and pays bi-weekly (every other Thursday) via PayPal with no fees and waiting period.

I turn down offers if the topics are not relevant to my websites, as I do have ethics (and don't want to lose loyal visitors). For instance, I refuse to write about pharmaceutical drugs on my blog about preemie twins. But I would gladly to write about designer accessories on my celebrity fashion blog.

What companies are your favorite that pay for blog posts?

I have only recently been checking out sponsored postings. I have done one and it was for social spark. It was easy money and I wish I could find enough offers that fit my blog! I will have to check out the others on your list! Thanks for sharing!
